Taylor Escolopio
Hi, I'm Taylor (you can call me Tay) - half of the brains (and all of the chaos) behind the scenes here. I'm a mom first, snack enthusiast second, and everything else somewhere after that. My kids are my whole world, my husband is wonderfully supportive, and my dogs are the only children who truly understand their mom.
I take naps seriously, snacks even more seriously, and there is always a road snack waiting in my car. My ADHD keeps things interesting - it's behind most of my wild ideas and probably all of my best ones.
None of this would exist without the support from my best friend and Meatball, Chelsy - the other half of my brain and thankfully she follows along with all of my crazy ideas so we could make this dream a reality for everyone!

I believe that stories have the power to transform communities. I’m one of the plotmakers behind Plot Twist Pines, a cozy corner where imagination, literacy, and connection come together.
I’m married to my wonderful wife—my favorite plot twist of all—and together we share a home with two mischievous cats. I love getting lost in a good book, crocheting, going to concerts and envisioning my someday in-home library (it will have a ladder, obviously). You can typically find me adventuring with Taylor Escolopio—my partner-in-chaos, snack-hunting sidekick, my Meatball. Whether we’re scouting dusty bookstores, chasing concerts (literally flew to Germany for 2), or mapping out impromptu road trips, every outing is its own quirky chapter.
